Born from the streets of Greece, begleri are deceptively simple objects with a rich history. Traditionally carried by the mangas—the fiercely independent characters of Greece's urban working class—these weighted beads were rolled, flipped, and passed through the fingers as a way to occupy the hands and quiet the mind.

Over time, this humble pastime evolved into an art of its own.

Our interpretation honors that heritage with a distinctly modern approach. Precision-machined by hand, each set features our maker's mark and the traditional Greek name, ΜΠΕΓΛΕΡΙ, engraved into the ends.

Part worry beads, part skill toy, part meditation in motion. Begleri can be as simple as a rhythmic movement between the fingers or as complex as an endless series of flips, rolls, and catches.
