One morning I came in to find a drowned spider. I swore to him that his life would not have been lost in vain so I saved him and planned on machining a little brass cup and set him in resin. As the weeks went by, I kept developing the idea. Would be cool if the spider looked like he was coming out of a castle dungeon type place. Be even cooler if there were stairs leading down to an abyss of nothingness. OH! I should laser engrave the Memento Mori art on the top area but then make it look like the floor fell away to some stairs. And, of course, Marty Mcfly should be trying to escape the abyss and the giant spider that lives down there on his hover board. Well this took me so long to get to the resin stage that when I finally picked up the spider to place him, he just fell apart. Dang. Who knew?
